Since 2016 Carolin Jüngst & Lisa Rykena are working together as a collective as well as freelancing performers and choreographers in Hamburg, Munich and Berlin.In their work the Duo Rykena/Jüngst are dealing with queerfeminist body discourses and transformation of normative body ascriptions. In their pieces they go back to classic, mythological and popcultural material to create new figures, hybrid forms and grotesque embodyment. Their last common work ARIE/ELLE was produced in 2018 in the frame of the resicendy "Limited Edition" at K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg, Kampnagel. Lisa Rykena already worked with artists like William Forsythe or Zufit Simon and is part of the Company Christoph Winkler in Berlin. Carolin Jüngst was part of a research project with the choreographer Richard Siegal and the Göteborgs Danskompani/Opera Göteborg and holds a scholarship of the Claussen-Simon-Stiftung. She performed in works Marina Abramovic, Allora & Calzadilla, or local artists such as Teresa Hoffmann.
