
Ajayini Sathyan is a gender non-binary / non-conforming (no pronouns please, just name) FLINTA * BPOC activist, certified queer peer advisor and artist from Tamil Nadu. Ajayini has worked with LGBTQ people, people living with HIV below the poverty line, Cis / Trans sex workers, Dalit women and Dalit LGBTQIA. If possible, Ajayini actively represents queer refugees / FLINTA * BPOCs. Ajayini also deals with politicized topics such as cultural origin, (neo) colonialism, critical whiteness, gender and sexuality through spoken word / poems, art and through interactive lectures, workshops and discussions. Ajayini is part of the Nordwind Festival 2021.

“Allyship” is a term that grown over the last couple of year and took it prime spot during the Black lives Matter movement as a trending topic amongst non-Black people. Allyship extends itself to all having morphed into performative allyship and has created personal gain, which could be playing into appropriation of pain.
