Magnus Wilk

Magnus Wilk (b. 1985) plays the dobro, banjo and mandolin like he was born and raised in Bill Monroe’s heydays. The multi-instrumentalist has toured throughout the world, and with projects like Julie & The New Favourites, Open String Department and Ellestad/Wiik Duo he has received great reviews in the press. He has released seven critically acclaimed albums as a bandleader and contributed to a number of records with various artists. Wiik received the Geir Digernes’ Memorial Prize in 2015.
