[The Famous] Lauren Barri Holstein studied Dance at the Northwestern University in Illinois, Body Performance at the Trinity Laban Conservatorium in London, did her PhD at the Queen Mary University of London and teaches at several British and European Universities. As a radical feminist voice in the theatre scene of Great Britain, she is regularly swirling up the art scene. Since 2010 she has created a huge oeuvre. Her works were presented in the realm of the In Between Time Festival (Bristol), Fierce Festival (Birmingham), FEM Fest (Girona) and at Abron’s Art Center (New York). She has worked with many famous British artists and her remittance work SPLAT! (2013) was shown by BBC Radio 4 next to works by Marina Abramovic and Laurie Anderson.
