Sindri Runudde

Sindri Runudde is a dancer and choreographer based in Sweden. Their work is characterized by a multi-sensorial approach to the body as a living archive. Sindri invites artists and creators to their process to examine how we experience the world around us through our senses and our perception. A musical and auditive method and perspective is central. Sindri’s work spans several fields and includes sound art, visual art, and performance. They are educated in contemporary circus and dance, and have worked with companies and institutions as well as toured their own works both in Sweden and internationally. Sindri works from a queer feminist perspective and from lived experience. Since having a visual impairment they are involved nationally and internationally in the disabled/crip dance community. Sindri’s approach and artistry are unique through the ability to connect deep existential themes to pop culture and accessible concepts in a very successful way.

Sindri is part of the 2021 NORDWIND Festival both as a board member and as a performer.
