STUDIO NOCLIP STUDIO NOCLIP is a multidisciplinary artist collective creating performative settings between musictheatre and media art. In their works they explore interactive environments and generative dramaturgies within the theatre machinery, resulting in performances that blur the lines between reality and fiction. With a focus on experimentation and pushing artistic boundaries, NOCLIP consistently challenges conventional notions of spectatorship and participation, inviting audiences to actively engage with their work on multiple levels. THERESE RAMSTEDT Swedish-raised and Essex-based by way of London, Therese Ramstedt is a writer whose work is honest, humorous and human. An alumna of Soho Theatre’s Writers Lab, she has had work performed at Edinburgh Fringe’s Gilded Balloon and Summerhall, the Arcola Theatre, VAULT Festival and The Space as well as on regional and international tours. ZANDILE DARKO

ZANDILE DARKO Zandile Darko is a theatre maker, writer and performer based in Hamburg, Germany. In her artistic practice, she is searching for strategies which encompasses a multitude of layered, nuanced and complex stories, voices and temporalities. This may take the form of a performance, mask play, video performances, writing, creating speculative scenarios. Trained in Physical Theatre, acting, various dance styles and performance practices as well as having a background in Cultural Studies, she is particularly interested in more than human life and movement based practices. SANDRA KOLSTAD

SANDRA KOLSTAD Sandra Kolstad is a Norwegian composer, musician, producer, and author known for her visually striking performances and six acclaimed albums. In addition to composing for theatre and collaborating with writers like Ann Carson and Jon Fosse, she made her literary debut in 2021, winning Aschehoug’s Debut Prize for her novel To ord for ødeleggelse (Two Words for Destruction). DIMA AL-BITAR KALAJ

Dima Al-Bitar Kalaji Dima Albitar Kalaji, born in Damascus in 1982, has been living in exile in Berlin since late 2013. She studied art and media in Damascus university. Author and Cultural Journalist, publishes essays and texts in various magazines and newspapers, with a focus on sociopolitics complexity in exile, and Syrian literature after 2011, Her texts and essays are published in the magazine “APuZ” of the Federal Agency for Civic Education, FAZ, Berliner Zeitung, she is a guest writer in “10 nach 8” on Zeit Online since 2016. She has been working at the association WIR MACHEN DAS, as curator and Arabic language editor for the projects of “Weiter Schreiben” since 2017, and as artistic director of “Mapping Berlin / Damascus”, “Smell of Dictatorship”, ” Lebendiges Archiv – Umgang mit Diktatur” and and most recently “Weiter Schreiben-Intervention”. She has produced the bilingual podcasts “Syrmania” for Deutschlandfunk Kultur and “(W)Ortwechseln” in cooperation with rbbKultur. JONAS HASSEN KHEMIRI

JONAS HASSEN KHEMIRI Jonas Hassen Khemiri, writer and dramaturge, born in Stockholm to a Swedish mother and Tunisian father, studied economics in Paris and literature at Stockholm University. His novels have made him one of Sweden’s best-known authors and have been translated into over 20 languages. In addition to the Borås Tidnings Debut Prize, he was awarded the Per Olov Enquist Prize in 2006 and the August Prize, Sweden’s most important literary award, in 2015 for his novel Everything I Don’t Remember. His debut play Invasion! was an international success and also established him as one of the most important contemporary Scandinavian playwrights. ABDALRAHMAN ALQALAQ

ABDALRAHMAN ALQALAQ Abdalrahman Alqalaq is a Palestinian writer, poet and performer. His poetry debut ““twenty four” was published in Arabic by Elles Publishing House in Cairo in 2022. His first book in German, “Übergangsritus” (Poems and prose), was published by Wallstein Verlag in 2024 and was awarded the Chamisso Publication Scholarship by the Friedrich Baur Foundation. He studies cultural studies and aesthetic practice with a focus on theater and literature as well as international cultural policy at the University of Hildesheim and the Université M5 in Rabat. WASEEM ALSHARQI Waseem Alsharqi, writer, dramaturge, director, studied theatre studies at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in Damascus and at the Free University of Berlin. He has worked as a dramaturge in many theatre productions in Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Germany and Sweden. In addition to his theatre work, he works in cultural journalism and publishes on many Arabic platforms. JOANNA HOLEWA CHRONA Joanna Holewa Chrona is a Swedish-born dancer, choreographer, project manager and DJ. Ever since Joanna travelled to Johannesburg as a dancer to learn the isiPantsula, she has been in love with the house music scene there, whose spiritual and positive vibes made a big impression on her. DJing as DJ Shuwana is a way for her to dive deeper into the music and connect with other people. She mainly plays a mixture of Afro House and Afro Tech. AFIA Afia is a non-profit organisation founded in 2016 by Swedish-based dancers and choreographers Joanna Holewa Chrona and Theresa Gustavsson. It was born out of the desire to create a space for encounters and exchange with African artists. Since its inception, Afia has evolved into a platform that creates a vibrant connection to South African culture through festivals and cultural events, bringing people together to celebrate and learn from each other.
