KAJAN LUC Kajan Luc lives and works in Hamburg. She is an award winning communication designer, artistic director, lecturer and curator. As a designer and artistic director she creates participative, transdisciplinary formats to discuss, to speculate and to empower in topics of anti racism, decolonization and climate crisis. She is co-founder of the design collective studio playces that creates interactive spaces for critical and social utopias, redefining play and space. YOLANDA GUTIÉRREZ

YOLANDA GUTIÉRREZ Yolanda Gutiérrez, born in Mexico, is a Hamburg-based choreographer, video artist, curator and producer. Her projects are shown at international festivals. She works with international artists from Europe, Asia, Latin America, the USA and Africa. Since 2017, she has regularly choreographed decolonizing audio walks with dance interventions, also outside Europe, which are performed under the titles URBAN BODIES PROJECT and DECOLONYICITES. In 2021 she founded her artistic platform SHAPE THE FUTURE. HARALD BEHARIE Harald Beharie is a Norwegian-Jamaican performer and choreographer based in Oslo, Norway. In various formats and contexts, he uses dance and movement to explore different forms of togetherness and question concepts of normativity. Harald is interested in the unpolished, the self-made and the vulnerability of the unknowing and the development of concepts with and within the community. CANDICE BREITZ

CANDICE BREITZ Candice Breitz is a Berlin-based South African Jewish artist whose moving image installations have been shown internationally. Her work explores how individuals develop in relation to communities, addressing themes such as national identity, race, gender, religion and the impact of mass media. In her current work, she focuses on the conditions of empathy, questioning how it is created in a media-driven culture where fictional identifications are often juxtaposed with real empathy. MARTIN NAUNDORF

Martin Naundorf Martin Naundorf works as a curator for the OSTEN festival in Bitterfeld-Wolfen and the Klassik Stiftung Weimar. He studied ‘Cultures of the Curatorial’ at the HGB Leipzig and cultural work in Potsdam and Amsterdam. After graduating, he worked as an artistic production manager and produced for the Kunstfest Weimar, the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, the YMUSIC production office and the Marc Sinan Company, among others. His current curatorial practice is focussed on public spaces, ‘the East’ and the festival format. Eva Kienholz Eva Kienholz studied German language and literature, history and German literature in Mannheim and Berlin. She works as a freelance journalist and author. In 2015, she began to focus intensively on the AfD and the New Right. In 2020, she published her book ‘Ihr Kampf. How Höcke & Co. radicalise the AfD’ was published by Das Neue Berlin. In August 2024, Kienholz published ‘Eine kurze Geschichte der AfD. From Eurocriticism to the Remigration Scandal’. SONYA LINDFORS Sonya Lindfors is a Cameroonian-Finnish choreographer and artistic director. She also works in mediation, community organisation and education and is a founding member and artistic director of UrbanApa, an interdisciplinary and anti-hegemonic art community that provides a platform for new discourses and feminist art practices. In all her positions, she aims to create and promote anti-racist and feminist platforms where a festival, performance, publication or workshop can function as places of empowerment and radical collective dreaming. PROF. DR. STEFAN AYKUT Prof Dr. Stefan Aykut is Mercator Endowed Professor of Sociology, in particular the social dynamics of ecological transformation, at the University of Hamburg. He is the recipient of the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize from the German Research Foundation and completed his doctorate in 2012 in Paris at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales on the topic of ‘How to govern a global risk?’ Since then, he has been working on issues of global climate policy and the energy transition in Europe. VANESSA NAKATE

VANESSA NAKATE Vanessa Nakate is a climate justice activist based in Uganda, the UNICEF global goodwill ambassador, and the author of A Bigger Picture. Inspired by Greta Thunberg, Vanessa started her own climate movement in Uganda and began a solitary strike against inaction on the climate crisis in January 2019. Nakate started the Vash Green Schools Project, a renewable energy initiative which aims to transition energy in impoverished rural schools in Uganda to solar energy and install eco-friendly stoves in these schools. The project has carried out installations in over 70 schools. Nakate received the Haub Law Environmental 2021 Award in recognition of her citizen diplomacy in bringing the voice of her generation to global environmental campaigns and received the Helmut-Schmidt Zukunftspreis award in 2022.
