Michel Abdollahi is an emcee, television presenter, journalist and painter of Iranian origin from Hamburg. He was born in Tehran on 20 April 1981. He has been active in the German-speaking and European poetry slam scene since 2000 and is regarded as a ‘luminary’ (Hamburger Abendblatt). He was honoured with the German Television Award in 2015 and the Gustaf Gründgens Prize in 2017.
